1) Suttons Beach Pavilion

Offering a variety of unique dining experiences with panoramic views of Moreton Bay from the beachfront of Suttons Beach, this beloved, laid-back establishment is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Their menu is bursting with the fresh flavours of Moreton Bay’s finest seasonal produce, including seafood, meats and vegetables.

With a spectacular view and open-air spaces, Roary recommends this location for a nice, relaxed atmosphere for families to enjoy a meal and unwind.

2) Pirate Park

Located in the sleepy shopping strip of Scarborough Village, Pirate Park is a favourite for parents and kids!

The park is situated right on the beachfront and boasts plenty of public barbeques, space for kicking a football and sandy shores for building sand castles.

Even better, Pirate Park’s popularity is helped by its fenced-off playground for kids which includes a large train and pirate themed fort!

Roary recommends this spot for parents with young kids who love to explore and have fun. If this spot got our Roary excited, just imagine the kids!

3) The Belvedere Hotel

The Belvedere Hotel is one of many amazing family-friendly restaurants in Redcliffe.

Nicknamed ‘The Bel’ by locals, its one of the main go-to venues on the Peninsula with its scenic bay views, casual atmosphere and iconic waterside dining.

The Belvedere boasts its own playground within one of its Al Fresco dining areas, plus a Modern Australian dining menu for the adults and a dedicated kids menu which even had Roary licking his chops…

The renowned seafood bucket in particular is a key recommendation from the locals. This spot sure did knock Roary’s socks off. He highly recommends this venue for a pre-game lunch with the whole family this game-day!
