Biography
At 15, Louis moved from Townsville to Sydney, where he joined NPL NSW side Sutherland Sharks.
In 2020, Zabala made the move to Brisbane, as a part of the Roar Youth side. His consistent performances earned him captain of the NPL side, where he carried them to their highest ever finish in the competition.
Louis transitioned into the first team at the beginning of 2022, where he took his chances to shine in an unfamiliar position. Traditionally a midfielder, Zabala was asked to fill in at full-back, due to lack of depth during the COVID era.
Since, Zabala has earned 24 A-League appearances ahead of the 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season. He’ll look to add to this tally and establish himself as a regular for the Orange.
