Ayesha Norrie

Club captain, Ayesha Norrie, first signed for Brisbane Roar in 2013, when she was 16, and made 25 appearances across three seasons.

The midfielder joined Melbourne Victory ahead of the 2016/17 season, before returning to the Roar in 2017, where she was a part of the title winning side the same year.

Norrie spent a year abroad with LA Galaxy OC before returning to Australia with Perth Glory in 2019. She then spent a year with Gold Coast United, where she scored 10 goals in 30 games for the NPL outfit.

Ayesha returned to the Roar in 2021 as club captain and was awarded Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season.

Norrie continues to lead by example on and off the pitch, as well as being a mentor to the young talent that is coming through the squad.
