Young Roar run rampant in Perth

Thumbnail

Brisbane Roar Youth has recorded its second win of the Foxtel Y-League season to remain unbeaten after four rounds.

The Young Roar returned from Perth yesterday with three points in the bag after seeing off the Glory in style.

Goals before the half from George Mells & Dauntae Mariner along with a second-half brace from Keegan Jelacic was enough for the Roar to comfortably see off the Glory while also keeping their perfect defensive record for the season intact.

That makes it three games with three consecutive clean sheets for Chris Grossman’s side, who soared to the top of Conference A ahead of back-to-back home fixtures.

The Young Roar face Adelaide United this Saturday morning at A.J. Kelly Park (10:30am KO) before returning to the venue a week later to face Melbourne City.
