Ahead of this weekend’s opening round of NPL QLD action, we have confirmed our Young Roar playing squad and staff structure for the 2021 campaign.
Following an incredibly successful year on the pitch for the Brisbane Roar Academy sides, with a terrific number of players also earning opportunities in the club’s A-League squad, all seven Academy squads return to action this weekend for the new campaign.
Under the tutelage of Head Coach Chris Grossman once again, the Young Roar will open their NPL QLD campaign this Sunday away to Eastern Suburbs FC at Heath Park.
“We’re excited for the year ahead, excited for our team to fulfil their potential and do some good things,” Grossman said.
“I’m happy to have seen progression in a number of those boys, particularly those who have earned opportunities with our A-League squad, and hopefully we’re able to provide more opportunities this year.”
