There were huge smiles all around as the winners of the Brisbane Roar Two Millionth Fan promotion were presented with their prizes prior to last weekend’s match against Newcastle Jets.
The Roar passed the milestone of two million fans through the gates at home Hyundai A-League games when the club hosted Central Coast Mariners at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, 6 February.
To celebrate the achievement, prizes were on offer for club members and fans.
The lucky member drawn from all members who attended the Roar vs Mariners match was Dean Bilafer, of Fortitude Valley.
He won a $5700 TAG Heuer timepiece, a Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone thanks to Telstra Brisbane North and a lunch with Roar Head Coach John Aloisi and several players.
Dean and his family have been attending Roar home matches regularly for several years and this is the first season they have signed up as members.
“I was really excited and happy when I found out I had won and to be presented with the TAG Heuer watch on the Suncorp Stadium field was very special,” he said.
The lucky fan selected from all those at the Roar vs Mariners match was Neil Neilsen, of Ferny Hills.
He won a Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone thanks to Telstra Brisbane North and a lunch with Roar Head Coach John Aloisi and several players.
