TEAM NEWS: Squad confirmed for Mudgee trip

Head Coach John Aloisi has named an 18-man squad for Saturday’s Remembrance Round clash against the Wanderers.

The Roar head to regional New South Wales this weekend for the first ever Hyundai A-League match to be played in Mudgee – approximately 300km west of Sydney.

Young attacking duo, Dylan Wenzel-Halls and Daniel Leck have been added to this weekend’s extended squad, while talented midfielder Joe Caletti is again promoted for Saturday’s match against the Wanderers.

After making an appearance off the bench last weekend against Perth, striker Nick D’Agostino is out with illness and off-season recruit Stefan Mauk (abductor – 1 week) will not make the trip south for our Round 4 clash in Mudgee.

He’s found the back of the net twice this season & Adam Taggart will be looking to add to his tally – he’s scored in almost half of his career meetings with the Wanderers.

Alex Lopez is also in line for his fourth Hyundai A-League appearance – his creativity could be key to a Brisbane win on Saturday with only Luke Brattan having made more passes into the final third than the Spaniard this season.

Watch the clash LIVE on Fox Sports 505 from 4:30pm (QLD time) on Saturday.
