TEAM NEWS: Roar Women add international experience

Brisbane Roar has added three international representatives to its squad to face Perth Glory in their first home game of the Westfield W-League season on Sunday afternoon at Suncorp Stadium.

Prolific striker Tameka Butt, 20-time Westfield Matilda Amy Chapman and Kaitlyn Torpey, who has just returned from the AFC Under-19 Women's Championship with the Young Matildas, have been included in Mel Andreatta's 17-player squad.

Butt, who is closing in on 100 Westfield W-League appearances and is the second all-time leading goalscorer in the league's history, is in line to play her first game of the campaign after a stellar off-season playing in Norway and for the national team.

The Roar Women will be looking to make it two wins from as many games to start season 10 of the Westfield W-League after a superb display in a 3-1 away victory against Sydney FC last Friday night.

They will play directly before the Hyundai A-League clash between Brisbane Roar and Central Coast Mariners in the first of five double headers scheduled to be played at Suncorp Stadium this year.

Don't forget, one ticket gives you entry to TWO games and kids go FREE with any paying adult.

Be there to cheer both our sides on this Sunday! PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS & CHECK OUT T&C's HERE.
