Brisbane Roar Football Club and Scott McDonald have agreed the mutual termination of the forward’s contract.
During his time at the Roar the Socceroo made 23 appearances, scoring on nine occasions and helping the club to qualify for the A-League 2020 Finals Series.
Brisbane Roar thanks Scott for his contribution to the club and wishes he and his family all the best for the future.
McDonald said: “I would like to thank everyone involved at Brisbane Roar Football Club and its supporters for the support I have received in my time at the club.
“My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and I am very proud of what we achieved, reaching the Finals Series and an AFC Champions League place last season and continuing that work into this season.
“I wish the club the very best for the remainder of the season and beyond.”
