On the eve of Westfield W-League Season 11, BRFC is proud to introduce iNSPIRE Sport Australia as a Club partner.

Our new Partner focuses on ensuring young athletes have the tools they need to perform at the highest level, both on the field and in everyday life, as they transition into professional sport.

“It is with immense excitement that I announce our partnership with the Brisbane Roar Women,” iNSPIRE Sport Australia CEO & Founder Annie Flamsteed said.

“As an ex-female athlete myself, I am aware of the pressures and stress that full-time training with full-time work or study can place on young athletes minds, and our support of the Westfield W-League is a small way to show that we are interested in supporting young women to engage in sport – especially football.”

Through a combination of high-quality, evidence-based content, iNSPIRE Sport has developed a platform that provides young athletes with relevant feedback on their performance and well-being.

“iNSPIRE Sport Australia is proud to be changing the lives of young athletes through wellbeing education and support and we felt it a very appropriate partnership to support [Head Coach] Mel [Andreatta] and her team.

“We hope to use our program in football clubs all around Queensland to educate, support and inspire young women to stay in sport longer and to take up football as their sport of choice.

“Football is an amazing sport for young women to be involved in and to encourage young women to engage in sport is to encourage young women to be healthy – that’s what we are all about at iNSPIRE – improving the mental and physical health of young people.”
