Brisbane Roar has made it four wins from as many Hyundai A-League pre-season matches with a 4-1 win over Sydney FC in Cairns yesterday.

Youngster Kwame Yeboah bagged a brace – including a goal within sixty seconds of kick-off – as Corey Brown and Besart Berisha also found the back of the net for Brisbane.

Substitute Joel Chianese scored the Sky Blues’ consolation in the 70th minute while crowd favourite Alessandro Del Piero sat on the bench for the entire 90 minutes.

Following on from wins over Melbourne Heart (3-0), Central Coast Mariners (2-1) and Melbourne Victory (1-0), the Roar will now play National Premier Leagues Queensland Champions Olympic FC on Sunday, 29 September to round out their 2013 pre-season campaign.

The Roar begin the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 season away to Wellington Phoenix before hosting yesterday’s opponents on Saturday, 19 October at Suncorp Stadium.
