In a show of further support for women-s football, Brisbane Roar will introduce a Brisbane Roar W-League membership for the Westfield W-League 2013/14 season onwards.
With Football Federation Australia revealing the draw for the upcoming season today, the Roar has confirmed that fans of the two-time Westfield W-League Premiers and Champions will be able to purchase a season membership for $60.
The season membership will include entry to all six Brisbane Roar Westfield W-League home fixtures, one Hyundai A-League match at Suncorp Stadium, an invitation to a members-only open training session with the Roar Women and club merchandise, including a scarf, sunglasses, key-ring, back-pack, drink bottle and size 2 football.
The reigning Westfield W-League Premiers kick off their 2013/14 campaign at home with a match against old rivals Canberra United at AJ Kelly Fields, Kippa-Ring on Saturday, 9 November.
Other highlights of the six home fixtures include a mouth-watering pre-Christmas clash against semi-final foes Sydney FC at Perry Park and a season-ending match against last season-s Grand Finalists Melbourne Victory at Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre.
Four of Brisbane-s 12 fixtures will be televised (two home, two away) with finals kicking off in mid-February and the Westfield W-League Grand Final scheduled for Sunday, 23 February.
The Roar Women began pre-season with a training camp in Byron Bay over the weekend and Head Coach Belinda Wilson will finalise her 20-player squad for the 2013/14 campaign in the coming weeks.
