Roar confirm A-League coaching structure for 2020/21 campaign

Moon

Brisbane Roar can today confirm its A-League coaching structure for the upcoming campaign.

Following his appointment in July, local Queensland Head Coach, Warren Moon will lead the squad through his first pre-season and be joined by a number of new and familiar faces.

The club is pleased to welcome experienced coach Kevin A’herne-Evans into its A-League coaching ranks as Senior Assistant Coach.

A’herne-Evans has left his mark across a number of Queensland clubs, winning an NPL Queensland premiership with Brisbane Strikers before leading Noosa Lions to three consecutive Sunshine Coast Premier League premierships in 2017, 2018 and 2019, tasting Grand Final success in 2018.

Brisbane Roar is also pleased to welcome Pouria Nabi into the coaching ranks, who will take on dual roles as Performance Analyst and Leadership Facilitator.

Nabi has a wealth of experience across top Queensland clubs, most recently within the Brisbane Roar Academy.

“We have assembled both a balanced and experienced core group of coaches and coaching staff who we believe will have our squad best placed to be successful in our pursuit to win silverware this season,” Head Coach Warren Moon said.

“We would like to formally welcome Kevin and Pouria into our A-League coaching ranks and we’re looking forward to a big season ahead.”

Brisbane Roar will commence pre-season preparations at Carrara on Monday, 19 October.
