Brisbane Roar is pleased to announce the Brisbane Roar Development Program, holiday clinics and development training clinics aimed at young footballers, both male and female, aged between 10 and 15 years old.

The Development Program follows on from the extremely successful Roar Active Program, holiday clinics, school programs and early education programs which focus on children aged between 6 and 12.

“This new step is about preparing for the future of our club and ensuring we are helping to nurture the next generation of Brisbane Roar footballers,” said General Manager Sean Dobson.

“As a club, we want to set the benchmark for football development in Australia.

“Our latest program provides valuable skills to our developing youth and will help to grow our sport further into the next generation."

To kick it off, Brisbane Roar will host four holiday clinics in January 2013 throughout south-east Queensland.

Gold Coast - Wednesday 2 January - Saturday 5 January 2013

Sunshine Coast - Tuesday 8 January - Friday 11 January 2013

Toowoomba - Tuesday 15 January - Thursday 17 January 2013

Brisbane - Monday 21 January - Thursday 24 January 2013

Brisbane Roar players Matt Smith, Massimo Murdocca and Besart Berisha are Development Program ambassadors and will take time out from their busy schedules to visit some during the development program.

Brisbane Roar will also host Development Clinics throughout the year.

All Development Clinics and Holiday Clinics take place under the watchful eye of the Brisbane Roar Development Program coaching staff, all who have vast experience in both playing and coaching football.
