Our path to the AFC Champions League 2021 Group Stage has been confirmed following this evening’s draw in Kuala Lumpur.
Brisbane Roar are one of three Australian teams involved in the 2021 edition of the competition alongside Melbourne City and Sydney FC.
We will enter at the Preliminary Stage, as we did in our last two appearances in the competition in 2017 and 2018.
We will face 2020 Philippines Football League runners-up Kaya F.C.-Iloilo at the Preliminary Stage with the winner advancing to a Playoff Stage fixture against Chinese outfit Beijing Guoan.
Should we progress past the Playoff Stage, we will be placed in Group F alongside Thai champions BG Pathum United FC, defending AFC Champions League champions Ulsan Hyundai and Vietnamese champions Viettel FC.
