Football as we know may be off the cards for the time being, but the Hyundai A-League digital team have found a way for you to get your Brisbane Roar football fix tonight.

From 6:30pm (QLD time), we’ll be simulating our scheduled Round 25 clash against ladder leaders Sydney FC on FIFA 20 LIVE on the Hyundai A-League social media channels.

We’ll also be live tweeting the contest as two of the league’s in-form sides clash on FIFA 20.

Despite the best overall record in the Hyundai A-League since New Year’s Day, and the second-best on home turf, the clash with the Sky Blues will be one of the Roar’s toughest to date.

Led in attack by 71-rated Kosta Barbarouses & 70-rated Adam Le Fondre, another clean sheet for the Roar, led by central defensive trio Tom Aldred, Macaulay Gillesphey & Scott Neville will be key to a Brisbane success tonight.

Brisbane’s highest-rated player in Jamie Young will also be doing his best to deny a potent Sky Blues attack. With one of the best save percentages in the league, as well as a knack for pulling off gravity-defying stops, Sydney will have to be on their game to find a way past the Roar stopper.

At the other end of the park, Scott McDonald is going from strength to strength in the Roar attack. The experienced striker has found the back of the net four times in his last three games, and will find assistance alongside him with the speed of Dylan Wenzel-Halls as well as the physicality of Welshman Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
