Brisbane Roar return to pre-season action when they face PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Queensland side Olympic FC on Saturday afternoon.
Brisbane's clash with Olympic will be their seventh match of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 pre-season and will kick off at 5:00 pm at Goodwin Park.
The Roar are deep into preparations for the upcoming campaign with under a month now until Head Coach John Aloisi's side open the Hyundai A-League season against Melbourne City at AAMI Park on 6 October.
Marquee signing Massimo Maccarone and newest recruit Petros Skapetis have both found the back of the net three and four times respectively and will be looking to add to those numbers in Saturday's contest.
Skapetis, who joined the Roar following a stint in England, has made a blistering start to life in Brisbane.
Two of the four goals from the 22-year old attacker came against Hyundai A-League rivals Melbourne Victory, with the first a memorable strike in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.
Aloisi has included Roar youngsters Rahmat Akbari, Aaron Reardon, Connor O'Toole, Nathan Yoon and Daniel Leck in the squad during pre-season and all could potentially feature against the PS4NPLQLD side this weekend.
Brisbane Roar and Olympic agreed to become Academy partners in March this year.
The Roar and the Yeronga-based team will work closely together to establish a Central Brisbane Academy Preparation Centre for footballers aged between 5 and 11 years old.
Olympic finished the regular NPL Queensland season in 5th place, missing out on a finals place by one point.
Tickets will be available at the gate on the day. Family $10, Adult $5, Concession $2 and kids 12 years & under are FREE.
