The Brisbane Roar Powerchair team is in Sydney this week contesting the inaugural A-League Powerchair Championships.
They will compete alongside teams from Western Sydney Wanderers, Melbourne City, Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney FC.
The match against the Wanderers will be for the Foundation Cup, which was contested for the first time in March last year.
The Roar are the holders having won that match 6-0.
The Powerchair Championships are being played in conjunction with the FFA National Futsal Championships which will ensure big crowds for the boys.
Plans are also under way to establish an official powerchair competition this year after a successful preliminary competition was staged in 2015.
