Meet our E-League players

Tomorrow's the day, the E-League officially commences!

The E-League is a newly-established competition for EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18 gamers which begins tomorrow night and runs until the end of the Hyundai A-League season.

Each Hyundai A-League club has selected two competitors, one to compete on PlayStation 4 and the other on Xbox One.

We begin our campaign against Melbourne Victory, and what better time to meet the two players who will be chasing E-League glory in Brisbane orange.

Dino Flocco (PlayStation 4)

  • Gamer tag: ol_Mate_
  • Attended the EA Sports FUT Champions regional event in 2017 & notably beat Melbourne City's Marcus Gomes in the group stage.
  • Has a Bachelor of Psychological Science and currently plays top division indoor football

Dino became our first E-League representative after winning our Final 8 tournament at Suncorp Stadium on January 18. After sneaking through to the knockouts with an incredible win in the final group stage match, he survived playing a man-down in the final to prevail.

"This is a wonderful chance. I know Marcus Gomes (Melbourne City E-League player) and it [The E-League] is a great initiative. I played him in Sydney at an EA event and I beat him before he beat me and I think he's got the better of me now."

James Cripsy (Xbox)

  • Gamer tag: iCripsy
  • Has played FIFA competitively since 2009 and was named ACL FIFA Champion Brisbane 2010 & ACL FIFA Champion Melbourne 2011
  • Has organised over a dozen live and online FIFA events and volunteered at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne for over 11 years

James 'Cripsy' Williams became our second E-League representative at the inaugural E-League draft.

"I've always been a gamer. FIFA 98 is the first FIFA game I remember playing with Dad - he would always beat me and that's where the competitive streak began.

"There weren't alot of competitions around at the time but I competed in my first in 2009. I've been competing in and organising tournaments ever since.

"I'm stoked. I want to spread the word about the E-League and I couldn't say no after seeing the passion the Club has for the league and potential it has."
