For the first time in Brisbane orange, Scott McDonald has won the fans’ vote as the Club’s La Dolce Vita Player of the Month for March.
McDonald, who joined the Club in January, got off the mark in Brisbane colours with a maiden goal just three minutes in to the March 6 clash against Western Sydney Wanderers at Suncorp Stadium.
The experienced striker would go on to score again before half-time against the Wanderers before continuing a hot goal-scoring streak in the following two fixtures.
His first-half goals against Central Coast Mariners and the Newcastle Jets both proved decisive in consecutive 1-0 victories at home.
McDonald takes the award with an incredible 73% of the popular vote, run through the official Brisbane Roar Facebook page.
