Congratulations to Dylan Wenzel-Halls who is the Brisbane Roar La Dolce Vita Player of the Month for February.
The 21-year-old started all four of the Roar’s matches in February, scoring three times.
Wenzel-Halls earned his first start for the club in Round 17 against Adelaide United and marked the occasion with a goal in the 38th minute at Coopers Stadium.
The livewire attacker started every subsequent match and went on to score a further two goals including a stunning winner against Sydney FC and the final goal in the Roar’s 5-3 win over Central Coast.
The young striker’s performance in the win over Sydney earned him a spot in the Round 18 Hyundai A-League Team of the Week and the goal, which was his first at Suncorp Stadium, was selected as Goal of the Week.
Wenzel-Halls also inked a new deal with the Roar in February that will keep the Western Pride product in at the Club beyond the 2018/19 campaign.
