Brisbane Roar is delighted to confirm foundation Westfield W-League midfielder Elise Kellond-Knight has signed on in orange for the Westfield W-League 2019/20 season.

The 29-year-old returns to the Roar for a second stint having spent eight seasons at the Club from its inception, winning two Championships and a Premiership.

Kellond-Knight is the third foundation player to have signed on for the upcoming Westfield W-League season, joining two-time Julie Dolan Medal winner Clare Polkinghorne & all-time leading goal scorer Tameka Butt.

“It’s like I’ve stepped out of time and come back in,” Kellond-Knight said on her return to Brisbane.

The versatile midfielder has accrued 109 national appearances throughout an esteemed career which has included three FIFA Women’s World Cups.

The dual Westfield W-League Championship-winner returns to the Roar hungry for more success.

“[Head Coach] Jake [Goodship] is passionate, with a great drive and he wants to be a winner, as I do too,” Kellond-Knight continued.
