Join in the rivalry & help sick kids

We will be showing our support for sick kids and their families in this year’s Paddle for Kids Regatta and you can join us!

The Paddle for Kids event, held at the South Bank Cultural Forecourt on Saturday, 16 June, is an action-packed day of family fun and entertainment with all funds raised going directly to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

At Brisbane Roar, our commitment of caring for others extends beyond the walls of our club and into the communities our players, colleagues and fans call home. We are proud supporters of the Children’s Hospital Foundation and are committed to helping raise funds.

Players from both our Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League squads, and Club sponsors, will be joining the cause and hitting the water on the day and you can be rowing alongside them!

WHAT IS THE PADDLE FOR KIDS EVENT?

Juiced TV – the TV show made for kids in hospital will be on site covering the event. The Australian-first entertainment initiative which launched in 2015 at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, aims to improve the hospital journey for sick kids and their loved ones. In addition to cheering on the Dragon Boat races, the event includes a jam-packed day of entertainment for the whole family with live music, celebrity guests, dancers and performers as well as children’s workshops, interactive displays and much more!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Competition will run from May, 9 2018 to June 1, 2018.
Entrants must donate a monetary value via the Brisbane Roar FC Paddle for Kids donations page to be entered into the draw.
Eligible entrants must be aged 18 years or older on June 16, 2018.
All proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the official charity of Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
Competition winners will be selected at random and contacted on June 1^st, 2018 by telephone, social media or email.
Each winner will be entitled to one seat on board the Brisbane Roar FC Dragon Boat. The winner will be required to help the Brisbane Roar FC team paddle in the Paddle for Kids Regatta.
The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability.
Each winner knowingly and freely assumes all such risks, both known and unknown and assume full responsibility for their participation.
Brisbane Roar FC reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this competition at any time, and/or to cancel the competition where in the club’s opinion it cannot conduct the competition or award the prize for any reason beyond its control.
