The German defender played against Brisbane Roar in the 2014 Hyundai A-League Grand Final before joining the three-time Champions in January 2015.
Polenz played three times for Germany U19 team and once for their national U team, including appearances at the European U19 Championships.
He is currently contracted until the end of the 2016/17 season.
