Young Roar captain Jay Barnett is the latest Youth squad team member to earn a Hyundai A-League call-up after being included in our 18-man squad for tomorrow night’s clash against the Jets.
We kick start the new year on the road tomorrow night at McDonald Jones Stadium (6:50pm KO QLD time).
Barnett, who has been a key pillar in the Young Roar’s surge to the top of Foxtel Y-League Conference A, is one of four inclusions for the clash.
Danish International Thomas Kristensen returns to the squad, as does Championship-winning defender Stefan Nigro, who is in contention for his second appearance for the Club.
Young striker Dylan Wenzel-Halls has also been promoted to the squad.
Central defender Daniel Bowles is unavailable with a one-match suspension.
We head to McDonald Jones Stadium with a strong record at the venue, having won 10 of 22 meetings away to the Jets (W10, D6, L6).
