Brisbane Roar’s youngest ever Hyundai A-League player Izaack Powell is in contention to make his return to first-team action on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium.
Powell has been included in the extended 20-man squad for Friday’s clash with the Mariners as the Roar look to extend a 17-match unbeaten run against the Central Coast.
The 18-year-old has been unavailable through international duty for a fair chunk of time since his last league fixture on New Year’s Day. He joins Welshman Aaron Amadi-Holloway as the duo to join the 18 players who got the job done last Friday night against the Wanderers.
The Roar would at least temporarily move to fourth spot with a win.
