Brisbane Roar Head Coach Warren Moon has named an extended 19-man squad for Wednesday night’s A-League clash with Central Coast Mariners in Gosford.
The Matchweek 18 fixture will be Brisbane’s first meeting with the Mariners this season and comes at the beginning of a run of six games in 20 days.
The Roar head to Central Coast Stadium in strong form following back-to-back away victories over Macarthur FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Brisbane will be without the suspended Corey Brown, who picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign in the win over the Wanderers, and captain Tom Aldred, who injured his hamstring in that match.
“Tom I think unfortunately tweaked his tendon in that fall against Western Sydney Wanderers,” Moon said. “It’s not too bad but I think he’ll be out for a couple of weeks at this stage.”
