Head Coach Warren Moon has named his extended 20-man squad for Sunday afternoon’s A-League away game against Wellington Phoenix at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
The Roar are looking to get back to winning ways in Matchweek 13 leading into successive home fixtures.
Promising attacker Cyrus Dehmie comes into calculations after making an impressive start to the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland Men’s season with Young Roar.
Danny Kim and Keegan Jelacic have also been promoted.
Scott McDonald remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Sunday’s match will be the first meeting between the Roar and Wellington since the pair played out a 1-1 draw, also in Newcastle, in the latter stages of last season.
