Brisbane Roar Football Club wishes to give an injury update on Hayley Raso.
Raso was taken from the field at Dolphin Stadium on Thursday night after accidental contact from a defender’s boot to the attacker’s hand late in the second half.
Scans on Friday morning revealed no serious structural damage.
“Thankfully the injury isn’t as serious as initially thought. It’s another setback for Hayley, but she has great resilience and a fantastic mentality,” Head Coach Jake Goodship said.
Brisbane Roar Football Club would like to pass on its gratitude for the immediate concern shown by Victory’s Angela Beard, as well as fellow Victory team members.
