A hat-trick for Rachel Hill has seen Perth Glory take the three points in Sunday's Westfield W-League clash at Suncorp Stadium.
Three second-half goals for the Glory was enough to see them secure all three points infront a strong crowd of 4,431 at the first double-header of season 2017/18.
Head Coach Mel Andreatta says there are positives to take out of the game in what was an inconsistent performance from her side.
“We went into the match high on confidence, unfortunately, today there were some inconsistencies in the way we performed and Perth did well," Andreatta said.
"Credit to them - they made it hard to find players facing forward in our midfield, isolated our front three and made it difficult for us to support them.
"These are all things we will work on and more games together will help. We will keep working hard and look forward to next week."
The clash featured a raft of Westfield Matildas for both sides, including Roar shot stopper Mackenzie Arnold who was valiant between the sticks for Brisbane on a tough afternoon for Mel Andreatta's side.
Club stalwart Tameka Butt also returned to Brisbane for her first Westfield W-League appearance of the year and looked strong in midfield.
The Roar will take on Western Sydney Wanderers in round 3 on Friday, 10 November at Marconi Stadium. Kick-off 6:30 pm QLD time.
