Easter clinics hit sweet spot

The Brisbane Roar left rest, relaxation and chocolate eggs behind after hitting the road with the club’s new look Easter holiday clinic tour.

The Brisbane Roar left rest, relaxation and chocolate eggs behind after hitting the road with the club-s new look Easter holiday clinic tour.

Reverting from a three day clinic to a more structured day long program, the club travelled across South East Queensland, visiting grade eight students at Balmoral before holding holiday clinics at Lakes College, Mango Hill and the Nambour Wildcats Soccer Club.

Over 60 children aged between six and 14 attended the clinics, with one dedicated Geebung boy making the long return trip to attend the Nambour clinic.

With an emphasis on fun, the kids ran through drills, scored goals in the Rapid Fire Field before ending the day with a mini World Cup.

For more information on the Roar-s next holiday clinic contact Roar Community Football Coordinator Rozanne Burley on 0448 136 986 or keep an eye on the club-s website.
