Brisbane Roar Football Club can confirm the transfer of Isobel Dalton to Glasgow City FC for an undisclosed fee.

Dalton returned to Brisbane, her hometown, ahead of the Westfield W-League 2019/20 season, during which she took the pitch in each of the Roar Women’s 11 appearances to date this campaign.

The versatile Queenslander was a pivotal member of Jake Goodship’s squad, adapting to a variety of roles throughout the campaign.

The 22-year-old thanked the Club’s fans for their support throughout the season.

“A huge thank you to The Roar Corps and all our fans for their support and making me feel so welcome throughout the whole season,” Dalton said.

“You bring to much energy and I’m really thankful for all your efforts and endless support.”

The former Nottingham Forest player will now return to the UK to feature in the Scottish Women’s Premier League with defending champions Glasgow City FC.

“Isobel has been an outstanding member of our squad, both on the pitch and as a role model off it this season,” Head Coach Jake Goodship said.

“From everyone here at Brisbane Roar, we’d like to wish her all the best in Glasgow and her future footballing endeavours.
