Emerging cosmetics brand Curtis Collection by Victoria will be the official Player of the Match sponsor for all of Brisbane Roar-s Westfield W-League home fixtures this season.

Curtis Collection by Victoria is owned by Victoria Curtis, wife of the club-s Hyundai A-League goalkeeper Michael Theo.

As part of the sponsorship, Curtis Collection by Victoria will provide a cosmetics gift pack to the Player of the Match starting from this Saturday-s match against Sydney FC at Cleveland Showgrounds.

Curtis was excited at the prospect of linking football and Curtis Collection by Victoria.

“It was quite an easy decision to make and it-s one I-m really happy about,” Curtis said.

“Michael and I have supported the W-League for a long time – I have a cousin who played for Melbourne Victory – and football has always played a big part in our lives.

“I wanted to link the business to football and this is the perfect way to do that.

“It-s also a great way to combine both of our passions and to get behind the sport we love.”

Originally from Melbourne, Curtis and Theo moved to the Queensland capital two years ago after he put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Brisbane Roar.

Last month, Theo signed a four year extension to his current deal which will see him with the current Hyundai A-League Champions until the end of the 2016/17 season and the pair is now proud to call Brisbane home.

“This is my first sponsorship and I-m so happy it-s with the Brisbane Roar W-League team,” Curtis said.

“It feels like a perfect way to start.

“The business is only new but it has all happened a lot faster than I originally anticipated – we-re now in seven retailers across the country and that-s growing by the day.

“The launch of the Curtis Collection website was also really well received.”

Curtis will be at Brisbane Roar-s Westfield W-League fixture on Saturday to present the Player of the Match award after full-time.

Brisbane Roar Women take on Sydney FC Women on Saturday, 3 November at Cleveland Showgrounds. Kick off is at 3pm.

Tickets available at the gate – adults $5, children under 14 and concession $2 and children under 14 free. Brisbane Roar members also receive free entry.
