Craig Moore departs Brisbane Roar FC

Brisbane Roar FC can today confirm the departure of Football Director Craig Moore.

Moore, who returned to the Club in his current role in June 2015, has been an important and hardworking member of the BRFC Football Department.

Earlier today, Moore handed in his resignation to Brisbane Roar FC Management.

On behalf of the club, Managing Director David Pourre thanked the former Roar Captain and Gary Wilkins medal winner for his dedication and contribution.

“Craig is a passionate football person who has always had Brisbane Roar’s best interest at heart,” Pourre said.

“We wish Moorey the best of luck and every success in the future.”

Head Coach John Aloisi credited Moore for playing a pivotal role in the club’s success over the previous two seasons.

“Craig has been an important member of our football department and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for all his efforts and the support he has given our club,” Aloisi added.

Following today’s resignation, Craig Moore said, “I would like to thank Brisbane Roar for the opportunity. My aim was to help build a stronger club. With the Academy soon starting and the new training facility near completion, I feel very satisfied.

“I will now look at exploring new opportunities and I wish the players and supporters success moving forward.”

BRFC will not be making any further comment at this time.
