Brisbane Roar would like to advise that the Club has parted ways with Managing Director Mark Kingsman today.
This is part of The Bakrie Group’s restructuring plan for the club and is a decision that has not been taken lightly.
Pending the appointment of new Managing Director within the coming weeks, Brisbane Roar Chairman Mr. Soekasah will assist in the daily management of the club in addition to implementing an advisory board which has been planned for some time.
“Mr. Kingsman has served the club well for over a year and we thank him for his contribution,” Chairman Mr. Soekasah said.
“As we continue to grow, our club needs greater governance and oversight with a deeper connection with our members, the business sector and the greater community in general.
“I want to see Brisbane Roar become the largest club in Australia and we can only do this by truly engaging people.
“I’m excited about our club’s future and the contributions our initial advisory board will bring to the club.
“We have strong squads across our Hyundai A-league, Westfield W-League and Foxtel National Youth League teams and I know they will all have successful seasons.”
