The Brisbane Roar Business Club, the club-s new face of corporate hospitality, has proved a big winner even before the Hyundai A-League season has even begun.

The Business Club provides companies with the unique ability to support Brisbane Roar, attend a season of top-quality football matches and do business with other like-minded Brisbane organisations – all at the same time.

Hosted in Suncorp Stadium-s Northern Skyline Lounge during each Brisbane Roar home fixture, the Business Club will give club members the opportunity to network and generate business leads through a shared love of football with other small-to-medium local businesses.

Heinrich van Rensburg of Sign*A*Rama Ipswich was one of the first members of the Brisbane Roar Business Club.

Since joining two months ago, his business has seen a spike in sales thanks to the Brisbane Roar connection.

Not only has Sign*A*Rama Ipswich wrapped the club-s Roar Active Program vans and is in the process of re-designing new marquee tents, signage and pull-up banners but Brisbane Roar sponsors Pauls and fellow Business Club member Ambient IT are also directing their business to van Rensburg.

It-s estimated he-ll earn more than 10 times his Business Club membership through sales over the coming Hyundai A-League season.

“I-m loving the experience so far,” van Rensburg said.

“Everyone I-ve dealt with has been great and it-s nice to be involved in the club.

“Because the Business Club takes place during the games, it creates a nicer atmosphere to talk to someone about their business and to get to know them.

“It-s mutually beneficial and it shows that it all starts from building a relationship and good business will come from that.”

Atlantis Consulting, an advertising and design company, are also members of the Business Club.

Not only has the company produced Brisbane Roar-s new external website roaronegoal.com.au but is also working directly with Pauls on a number of different projects, showing a return on their investment before a ball has even been kicked in the 2012/13 season.

“We see this as a great opportunity to network with other Brisbane businesses,” said Managing Director Karen Cantwell.

“Brisbane Roar were very clear in our initial discussions that the other businesses involved would be complimentary and we-re already experienced that – for example, we-re working with Sign*A*Rama for some sign-writing for our company.

“We-ve looked at corporate facilities at other codes and it was quite expensive but I think the Brisbane Roar Business Club is great value for money.

“Having the opportunity to network while enjoying a football match is great – we just want the season to start now!”

Brisbane Roar Commercial Manager Adam Palfrey reiterated the benefits of joining the Business Club.

“I-d like to predict that all members of our Business Club this season, not only get to see history in the making as we defend our back-to-back championships, but at least treble their investment through business opportunities with us and each other,” he said.

“When we look for a supplier here at the Roar, firstly we look at who is in our Business Club and can they help – we are committed to using businesses that support us.”

Places are still available in the Brisbane Roar Business Club for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season. For more information or to join, call the Brisbane Roar office on (07) 3123 7100 or email corporate@brisbaneroar.com.au
