Brisbane Roar has helped celebrate the positive impact of refugees by supporting the Multicultural Development Association-s (MDA) Candlelight Walk and Lantern Parade.

Helping to raise the profile of refugees around the world, the Candlelight Walk and Lantern Parade is a spectacular visual procession through the South Bank Parklands.

Candles in hand, German import Thomas Broich and club mascot Roary marched with hundreds of people before watching the free concert at the Suncorp Plaza.

The Roar will continue its strong support for refugees by appearing at the MDA-s World Refugee Day Community Festival on Sunday June 27.
