Here are some key points of discussion from the evening (please note, questions and answers have been paraphrased):

What are the club-s plans to reach 10,000 membership target?

Sean Dobson: • 10,000 is an optimistic target. Currently, we are tracking towards 8,500 but this is still a good step forward from two-three years ago. • I still believe the strongest push for memberships is strong team on the pitch which is coming together. • The ONE GOAL program is playing a big role in building support for the club • To be honest, the majority of our marketing budget was spent on re-signing Matt McKay

How can we increase the atmosphere at Suncorp Stadium?

Sean Dobson: • (This season) we will trial a few programs, out of the Den and active supporter groups, to see how we can try and minimise restrictions • We want to give freedom to the Den to express their passion in any way they see fit. • We are looking to find a commercial partner to help bring the price of the Den memberships down. • The Den is what drives our match day atmosphere.

What are the club-s plans for youth development?

Mike Mulvey: • My vision is that in ten years time we have a development program that is producing a conveyor belt of players, specifically Queensland players, who are coming into our first team side. • To do this we need harmony at the state level (including Queensland Academy of Sport), Han Berger of FFA is coming up next week to discuss options with the club. • I think all Hyundai A-League clubs would jump at the chance to be responsible for youth development • The future is the kids and we are the vehicle for these kids. We will do our best to provide that pathway, and ensure that every Queensland youngster gets the chance to wear the Roar jersey.

How do you explain the turnaround at the end of last Hyundai A-League season?

Mike Mulvey: • Firstly, I am very proud and privileged to be the coach of Brisbane Roar • When I came in, I observed and one of the big things I found is that there was a feeling of entitlement around the place • I credit the players with the turnaround, they bought into my ideas, others left fairly quickly • I will guarantee we will be super competitive this year

Is the squad for this Hyundai A-League season finalised?

Mike Mulvey: • We will need to find an injury replacement player for George Lambadaridis who is out for nine months • Salary cap will be our main constraint • Keep an eye next generation of our youth league players - Lachlan Jackson, Patrick Theodore, Brandon Borrello, Kwame Yeboah and Ben Litfin. • These boys train with the first team every day and are ones for the future, I-m not afraid to throw youth in

How do we convert those who religiously follow overseas competitions into Hyundai A-League fans?

Sean Dobson: • The SBS free-to-air coverage will help get new people engaged in the Hyundai A-League • The difference in coverage will be noticeable this season and with Brisbane Roar having nine matches on SBS Friday nights, this will help the club-s brand

Mike Mulvey: • For me, nothing beats the live football experience • I-m a fan too and for me, Shinji Ono-s goal against us in the semi-final last season was one of the best goals of the season • We have to do it the right way, the Brisbane Roar way

Will there be a new kit for the upcoming season?

Sean Dobson: • Yes, we can confirm we-ll have a new kit for the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 season • We will have a home, away and alternate jersey • We-ve also been working with apparel partners to ensure better quality of replica jerseys and increased range of merchandise
