Brisbane Roar to enter Season 10 with more than 10,000 members

In a strong show of support from the Brisbane public, Brisbane Roar has passed 10,000 members for the first time in history ahead of Hyundai A-League Season 10.

Hyundai A-League Champions in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and Premiership winners in 2011 and 2014, the club’s success on the field is being reflected off it.

Managing Director Sean Dobson believes it’s the combination of title-winning football and offering members real value that is helping the club continue to build their membership base.

“A big thank you has to go to the 10,024 people that have already committed to the club as members for this season,” Dobson said.

“We have so many loyal and passionate members that have supported us for many seasons and we’re very pleased to see this number growing significantly each year.

“It’s a credit to Mike Mulvey and his players, who spend a lot of time in the community outside of football, as well as the club staff who do that on a daily basis.”

Brisbane Roar’s 2013/14 membership tally of 8,112 that watched Mike Mulvey and his squad claim the Premiership-Championship winning double was the previous best and to celebrate the new achievement, the club is releasing a special Seven Game Mega Pack Membership.

The Seven Game Mega Pack Membership will include seven blockbusters at Suncorp Stadium, including two visits from Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City’s only trip to Brisbane in 2014/15.

“We’re really excited to offer the Mega Pack for the first time ever this season,” Dobson said.

“It gives those members who want to be part of the action, but can’t commit to the whole season a chance to show their support for the team."
