Brisbane Roar confirms Isuzu UTE A-League departures

Brisbane Roar has confirmed the departure of three Isuzu UTE A-League players following the conclusion of the club’s 2021/22 campaign.

Nicholas Olsen and Alex Parsons will move on after reaching the conclusion of their contracts, while Ryo Wada has returned to Japan and will continue his career with his parent club Sagan Tosu.

Olsen made 19 appearances in his first Isuzu UTE A-League season and featured three times in the Australia Cup.

Parsons, meanwhile, made 32 first-team appearances across all competitions and scored five goals over the past two seasons.

Wada was involved on four occasions after joining the Roar on loan in February.

Brisbane Roar thanks all three players for their contribution and extends its well wishes for the next chapter to Nathan Sherlock, human performance coach, and Jas Sidhu, head physiotherapist, who are also moving on.

The club remains in discussions with other members of the playing squad and will provide further updates in due course.
