Brisbane Roar came together with the local community to celebrate the ‘contribution and achievements- of refugee-s at Multicultural Development Association-s (MDA) World Refugee Day Community Festival.

A multi-cultural extravaganza of sport, music, dance, food and art, the World Refugee Day Community Festival exploded into life at the Annerley Football Club.

A long-time supporter of the festival, Brisbane once again added a touch of orange to the carnival atmosphere.

Brazilian powerhouse forward Reinaldo checked out the festival-s stalls before handing out trophies to the winners of the football competition, while Roar staff kept children entertained with the club-s Rapid Fire Field.

Brisbane Roar will be appearing next at the North Lakes Soccer Club 5-a-side Carnival on July 3 before attending the Go Between Bridge Community Market the following day.
