Brisbane Roar will be represented in two categories at the 2018 Queensland Sport Awards, to be held later this month.
Following a standout 2017/18 Westfield W-League season, our Roar Women has produced two nominations for the awards that recognise achievements October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018.
Our Roar Women are nominated for Queensland Sport Team of the Year following their record-equalling campaign, which saw the side take out a third Westfield W-League Premiership.
After guiding the side to said Premiership in her second season at the helm, Head Coach Mel Andreatta has also been recognised in the Sport Coach of the Year Category.
Our Roar Women are one of three female sporting sides to be nominated for Team of the Year, with the winners to be announced at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday, 28 November.
