Brisbane Roar fans are set to have double the entertainment this Saturday when the BRFC Legends reunite to take on an NPL Queensland Legends side at Moreton Daily Stadium.

The match will act as a curtain-raiser to the Club’s crucial A-League home clash with Wellington Phoenix, which kicks off at the family friendly time of 5:05pm.

Roar greats with 589 A-League games of service between them spanning 15 seasons are preparing to come together alongside some special guests to put on a show for supporters.

“We’re very proud to continue honouring our history by bringing back the BRFC Legends as part of a big double-header this Saturday,” Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre said.

“This will be a great celebration of some fantastic players who have given us incredible memories, wonderful wins and some unforgettable Grand Finals.

The NPL Queensland Legends side will be drawn from across the competition’s nine-year history as the state’s top tier.

Saturday’s curtain-raiser kicks off at 3:00pm and is to be played over 2 x 20-minute halves.
