Holman signed a two-year contract for Brisbane Roar during the 2016/17 off-season following three years plying his trade in the Middle East.
Holman has been capped 63 times for the Socceroos and appeared at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, scoring two cracking goals against Ghana and Serbia.
His experience in elite European leagues with clubs like Aston Villa, AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord will allow him to mentor the Roar squad’s young members
