The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini convened to consider the following incident from Round 23 of the Hyundai A-League:
1. The incident involving Besart Berisha (Brisbane Roar FC) in or around the 40th minute of Brisbane Roar FC-s match against Sydney FC on Friday evening. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as Besart Berisha was issued with a direct red card. The MRP confirmed that Besart Berisha will serve the Minimum Sanction of one (1) match, being the Mandatory Match Suspension.
