Ahead of the World Cup Final on Monday morning, BrisbaneRoar.com.au caught up with members of the Brisbane Roar squad to see who their tip was for the big match.

Thomas Broich - Germany. It-s not going to be as easy as the semi-final so I-ll say maybe 4-0!

Matt Smith - Germany. I-m gonna go for 1-0 to Germany. I think it-ll be a really close game.

Ken Stead, Football Director- Germany. I just think their game is evolving than any other country at the minute. Ask Thomas, I told him they-d win before they played Brazil!

Luke Brattan - Argentina. If everyone else is going Germany, then I-ll go for Argentina.

Corey Brown - Germany. I-ll tip them to win 4-0. I think they-re the best team in the world right now and they play the best football. I think Klose will score a double, Müller one and… I-ll give one to Özil.

Jean Carlos Solorzano - Argentina. Why? Because they have Messi.

Shane Stefanutto - Germany. I-m going for Germany because I think I need to support my left-sided teammate Thomas Broich.

George Lambadaridis - Argentina. I think Germany has already played their final.

Dimi Petratos - Germany. They-re a very hard-working team and I think they-ve got a bit more to give in a big game.

Henrique - Germany. Because I don-t want Argentina to win the World Cup!

Jack Hingert - Germany. Because I think they-re always up for it in these big tournaments and they come good for all the big games. I reckon it-ll finish 2-1.

Mike Mulvey, Head Coach - Germany. I did a talk in Melbourne three weeks ago and got asked on stage and I said the final would be between Germany and Argentina. I said at that time Argentina would win but now I think Germany will win.

Ron Smith, Assistant Coach - Germany. They-re on a high, scoring goals and creating chances in every game. They-ve got a number of people who can contribute to goal-scoring.
