Striker Andrija Kaluderovic will leave Brisbane Roar after the club decided not to take up an option to extend his contract.

The 27-year-old Serbian international thanked the Roar supporters for their support since he joined the club in January.

“I have enjoyed so much playing with the team and have made some very good friendships,” Andrija said.

“The Roar fans made me feel very much at home and my family and I have had a wonderful time in Brisbane.

“We thank everyone who supported us and I wish my team mates and the club very much success in the future.

“Brisbane Roar and its fans will always be in my heart.”

Kaluderovic scored five goals in 10 Hyundai A-League games and netted twice in the club’s AFC Champions League campaign.

“We fought hard this season and I know there are so many talented players in the squad,” Andrija said.

“With the support of the fans, I have no doubts they can challenge next season.

“I will return home (to Belgrade) this week and I will be cheering for them next season and for ever more.

“I have enjoyed my time here but this is football. I say good bye and thank you Brisbane.”
