All you need to know: FFA Cup Round of 16

We’re all set for our first competitive match on home soil under new Head Coach Robbie Fowler when we welcome Central Coast Mariners to Dolphin Stadium on Wednesday, 28 August (7:30pm KO).

Roar will compete in the competition’s Round of 16 for just the second time while playing at Dolphin Stadium for the second season in a row after hosting Melbourne City at the same venue in the Round of 32 last year.

The Roar’s FFA Cup clash will give fans a first glimpse at Dolphin Stadium before the side takes three Hyundai A-League matches to the venue in the 2019/20 season.

Admission prices for our FFA Cup Round of 16 clash against Central Coast Mariners at Dolphin Stadium are as follows:

  • Adult: $15
  • Concession: $10
  • Children: $5
  • Family of two (one adult, one child): $18
  • Family of four (two adults, two children): $35

BRFC Members will receive a 30% discount on tickets for the Roar’s Round of 16 clash. Members can redeem their 30% discount by entering their membership number when prompted.

Fans are encouraged to buy online & save. Tickets bought at the gate are subject to a minimum surcharge of $5 per ticket.

PARKING & TRANSPORT

Limited on-site parking will be available at Dolphin Stadium and in surrounding areas.

If you are travelling by train, Kippa-Ring station is less than 3km from Dolphin Stadium and is serviced by trains on the Redcliffe-Peninsula line.

Late night track closures TransLink: From approximately 10.15pm until the last service on Wednesday 28 August, tracks will be closed on the CBD lines.

Buses will replace trains between Bowen Hills and Albion to Park Road and Milton stations. 

Please plan your travel in advance and allow up 60 minutes extra travel time.

The Roar secured their spot in the Round of 16 courtesy of a 2-0 Round of 32 win over defending Hyundai A-League Champions Sydney FC at Leichhardt Oval.

Central Coast triumphed over NPL NNSW outfit Matiland FC by the same score line to book their place in the competition’s last 16.
