Brisbane will be looking to recreate last season's incredible run to the group stage, which included a 6-0 win against Global FC before a historic 2-0 win against Shanghai Shenhua in China saw the Roar progress to the Group Stage.

The clash will be the first ever competitve clash between the Roar and the Filipino outfit and here is all you need to know about the side that stands between us and another final qualifying playoff in China.

The squad

Managed by Risto Vidakovic, the Busmen squad features a combination of Filipino, Japanese and Spanish players. They progressed to Tuesday's clash with a win on penalties against Myanmar outfit Shan United. The Busmen went ahead in the 94th minute through an own-goal before being forced into a shootout, which they won 4-3.

History

Ceres-Negros, previously known as Ceres-La Salle Football Club have never qualified for the AFC Champions League Group Stage and made their maiden appearance in continental football in 2015.

They made their international debut in the 2015 AFC Cup Qualifying playoff before reaching the Group Stage in 2016 where they topped Group E. Tuesday night's clash will be their second ever AFC Champions League match.

Honours

Ceres-Negros won the inaugural Philippines Football League in 2017 after previously winning the UFL Division 1 title in 2015 as well as the Division 2 title in 2014. The club also won the UFL Cup in 2015 and 2016.

In 2017, they finished second on the ladder, a point behind Meralco Manila with a record of 17-6-5 before progressing to the Final where they saw off Global Cebu 4-1.
