MEET OUR OPPONENTS: REDLANDS UNITED

Redlands United currently sit in eleventh position on the NPL Queensland ladder after 21 games and come into Saturday’s clash off of back-to-back home wins over Western Pride and SWQ Thunder.

Japanese forward Shuto Kuboyama has lead the scoring for the Red Devils, netting nine times in the league this campaign, while mid-season acquisition Kado Aoci has chipped in with seven.

The Reds have one NPL Queensland title to their name, claiming the crown in 2016 with a 3-2 Grand Final win over Far North Queensland Heat after finishing fourth in the regular season.

Arguably the Club’s most famous night came the same season when they stunned defending Hyundai A-League Champions Adelaide United in the FFA Cup Round of 32 with a 2-1 extra time win at Perry Park.
